FFB Weekly 5 (#9)

Now this is a bit embarrassing. Neither Jake or AJ correctly guessed a goalscorer from the ten available Premier League games this weekend. Moving right along.

Week 8 Score: Jake 0-0 AJ

Overall Score: Jake 14-11

Jake’s 5

Eden Hazard (CHELSEA v manchester united)

He always scores against Manchester United. He always scores against Manchester United at Stamford Bridge. Jose Mourinho’s side aren’t having the best starts and with Hazard running at Smalling, Jones, Lindelof, Bailly et al, there could be damage on Saturday lunchtime.

Callum Wilson (BOURNEMOUTH v southampton)

Ah, that south coast derby. I’ve put Callum Wilson into my FPL team alongside Kane and Firmino so he better continue to rattle the goals in. Perhaps he might be able to turn Southgate’s head with some form between now and November’s break.

Etienne Capoue (wolverhampton wanderers v WATFORD)

Okay, so you might think this is a bit of a wildcard, and it is, but hear me out. Watford were tiring before the international break after a superb start. They’re due a win and there’s usually long range goals at Molineux.

Richarlison (EVERTON v crystal palace)

Everton will be confident of a win against struggling Crystal Palace. Richarlison will be buoyed by two more appearances for Brazil in the international break and a goal at Leicester last time out.

Raheem Sterling (MANCHESTER CITY v burnley)

Sterling broke his two-year duck on an international level and will be boosted by this with a seemingly easy task at home against Burnley.

AJ’s 5

Raheem Sterling & Sergio Aguero (MANCHESTER CITY v burnley)

Prince Raheem Ahmed. Going big, cancelling Jake out. The attacker is bang in form now both for club and country and will certainly transform his scoring for his club. And come on – it’s Burnley so I’ll stick another one of the City lads in there, Sergio Aguero’s banging the goals in as per usual.

Big Cenk Tosun (EVERTON v crystal palace)

Let’s be honest, it’s Big Cenk. Up against a wobbly Palace defence and with Sigurdsson behind him to provide, who knows. It’s Big Cenk.

Mo Salah (huddersfield town v LIVERPOOL)

Rumours whether he’ll start or not after going off injured for Egypt. However, he’s overdue a goal at club level and since scoring that Olympic Goal on the international break, he’s bound to upset Huddersfield on Saturday night.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (ARSENAL v leicester city)

The Gabon international is what Montel Vontavious Porter would call ballin’ and his ballin’ is in full flow right now, with Lacazette on the wing.
